2011-12-04 Dinner was Kidney Bean & Butternut Jamba Stew. Isa says it’s inspired by Jambalaya, and I could totally find those flavors… but in stew form! It was rich and comforting, and I managed to get the butternut squash to cook into utter Jamba perfection.
* The Husband didn’t get at first, because then to him it became Jambalaya, then he liked it but also didn’t like it so much because he somehow thought it was supposed to be Jambalaya, but then liked it as it progressed because it reminded him of chili, and then he finally got it, and really enjoyed it).
