Tonight began the official cooking for Vegan MoFo 2012, woo!  Already I see why some of these books haven’t been touched yet (can we say it’s a “weekend” recipe?)

Noticing a lot of trends in my books in general.  Mainly, that if the cover has a picture of someone proffering me vegan food, I am likely to buy the book.  6 of my books have such a cover.  I’m sure all will be mentioned but 2 qualify for my “cook from a book I’ve not yet cooked from” theme!

This doesn’t include books that have pictures of folks preparing vegan food, or posing with food… which sometimes looks like, I have this food but I’m not really offering it to you.  

Don’t get me wrong, love that book.  Love Alicia.  I just wish she was offering me some food I guess!

May spend tonight seeing if I’ve missed any other vegans offering me food on the cover of their book.  As if I needed more cookbooks…
