My dear 1 guy following me,
I have to apologize for going off-book. Due to the complexity of my simple life, with some recent travel and very needed vacation, being 1 meal shy of my goal prior to said travel and vacations, and faced with a rather empty refrigerator (due to massive cooking and the aforementioned travel and vacations… I have no post for tonight! I offer my humble apology, dear reader (oh, where did you go?) and look to remedy the situation by posting one additional entry on Saturday (whereas I have been taking the weekends off thus far.
I have plenty of cook books left to explore (when I get excited and passionate about something, I really do go in head first) and hope to share with you more of my vegan cooking adventures.
In the meantime, I do have one picture to offer from my recent trip:
A little less than a year ago (and me a little less than 3 months vegan), I went to Plant in Asheville, NC and had the most sumptuous meal. The desert I had, Live Key Lime Parfait, was described as “the most exquisite bite of food I’ve ever had, and easily the best desert I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
I’m pleased to note, having had this desert again this year and despite it being slightly different (just the fruit selection), that my review of of this desert remains unchanged.
If you ever have the opportunity to go Plant, please do so! It is pricier than some restaurants but entirely worth it
